IMPORTANT: Reformatting an image storage location erases all pictures, including protected pictures.
1. Connect the camera to your computer. If you have EasyShare software installed, close the Transfer window when it appears.
2. Double-click My Computer. Right-click the camera icon and select Format Camera Storage.
3. If your camera supports
u Both internal memory and a card, the Format Storage dialog box appears. Select the storage location and click OK.
u A card only, click OK.
